Hylton was in bed in her apartment on the 1300 block of Vida Court on the city’s Southwest Side when shots had been fired into the developing close to 3:45 a.m. Monday, law enforcement claimed. A male who was in the condominium with Hylton identified as law enforcement and explained they heard the gunshots, but he was visually impaired and not able to see where by Hylton was shot.
