On June 7, Bird Rides Inc. paid approximately $150,000 in delinquent house taxes to Travis County. The County was preparing to file a lawsuit and seize scooters.
AUSTIN, Texas — The organization that owns Fowl Scooters has averted a lawsuit from Travis County leaders that would have resulted in some of its scooters getting taken off the streets of Austin.
Fowl Rides Inc. had practically $150,000 in delinquent residence taxes but, on Tuesday, the California-based corporation last but not least paid out it off.
